Baysville Curling Club – Meeting Minutes for September 22, 2020

Attendees: Lili Davis-Burchat, Pam & Al Bowen, Sylvain Desjardins, Cathay Hoare, Terry Kouvoumjian, Dianne Jones

Fundraising

  1. Action: Suspend Landline (Prime Don) and internet account (Prime Lili) and investigate reducing insurance premium (Prime Al)

  2. Action: Communication to go to members asking for 5 volunteers for a fundraising committee. Dianne will create a draft communication and circulate to the board for approval Dianne will also chair the committee.

Fall draw

  1. Sylvain notified the township that we did not want the ice for this fall and therefore we wouldn’t be paying for it.

  2. Don will notify ice painters. Propane company needs to be notified not to fill the tank. (Sylvain send me the email and I will add the other actions that need to be taken)

Club repairs

  1. Several people volunteered to assist with ongoing repairs. Majority of repairs will be done with minimal cost.
